South Hills Interfaith Movement (SHIM) earned a four-star rating from Charity Navigator for the first time. This four-out-of-four-star rating was given for SHIM’s strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency.

Only a quarter of charities rated by Charity Navigator receive the distinction of a four-star rating. Charity Navigator aims to guide intelligent giving and advance a more efficient and responsive philanthropic marketplace, where givers and charities work together to combat pressing issues.

SHIM is a human services organization dedicated to improving the lives of people in need across the South Hills.
