Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) will be available at The Bible Chapel, McMurray, 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday through Friday, Feb. 2-April 15 (closed Good Friday, April 3). Volunteers will assist taxpayers with Federal, PA and local wage tax returns, real estate/rent rebates and PACE applications.
Bring a copy of last year’s tax return, W-2’s and 1099’s and all other income and interest statements; totals of itemized deductions; receipts for real estate taxes and large purchase items; proof of ID for yourself and spouse; birth dates and social security or individual taxpayer identification cards or notices for you, your spouse and dependents. (If married filing jointly, both spouses should be present.)
No appointments, only walk-ins. Do not contact The Bible Chapel regarding VITA. Call the IRS at 1-8002-829-1040. The Bible Chapel is located on Gallery Drive, 5 miles south of South Hills Village on the west side of Rt. 19. Follow signs 0.4 mile to the VITA entrance.
