SPORTS: Football, wrestling

ACHIEVEMENTS:

• All-State, linebacker. Black Hills Conference Defensive MVP. Two-time Almanac All-Star and O-R All-district team. Two-time PFN All-state, second team. Three-time All-Conference selection.

• Four-year starter.

• Ranked No. 3 in state with 130 tackles, 14.4 per game.

• Totaled 444 career tackles, 8.5 sacks, 25 tackles for loss, 3 interceptions, 6 forced fumbles, 2 recoveries.

• School’s all-time wrestling winner with 154 victories.

• Owned a 45-3 record this winter.

• PIAA state runner-up. Southwest Regional, WPIAL and section champion.

• Wrestled in the Dapper Dan Classic.

• Finished fourth in the nationally recognized Powerade Tournament.

• Four-time regional qualifier. Two-time PIAA qualifier.

• Three-time section champion.

• Two-time Pennsylvania Wrestling Coaches Association’s all-academic team.

ACADEMICS:

• Maintains 3.4 QPA.

COLLEGE:

• Will play football at West Liberty University and major in physical education.

COACH’S COMMENTS: According to his football coach, Terry Fetsko, Garrett has matured into a fine young man during the past four years. “He has always been polite and conducts himself in the highest moral standard. He has always been a very likeable person, conscientious and respected by his peers and the faculty. Garrett has all the academic qualities, dedication and personality traits that are needed to be successful. He is a fine individual and I give him my highest recommendation.”
