• The Ladies’ Altar Society of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, located on Boone Avenue in Canonsburg, will hold its Easter Bake Sale from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 8. Advance orders are being taken for nut, poppy and apricot raisin rolls. To place an order, call 724-743-0231 by March 19.
• Peters Township Fire Department will hold a CarFit Event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 17 at its station on East McMurray Road. This free event is available to anyone interested in having a trained team of evaluators access and provide tips for ensuring the best “fit” between you and your vehicle. • A Computer and Electronic Device Recycling Event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 18, in the larger parking lot behind Mt. Lebanon Public Library. On-site hard drive shredding will be performed at a donation of $10 per hard drive.
• State Rep. Dan Miller, D-Mt. Lebanon, will host his fourth annual Children and Youth Disability and Mental Health Summit in Pittsburgh this month. Due to the event’s popularity, the summit has expanded from two to three days, which will be March 22, 23 and 24 at Beth El Congregation located at 1900 Cochran Road in Scott Township.
