Veliky – James

Douglas James and Alma Veliky were united in marriage in San Francisco, with many family and friends from the Pittsburgh area in attendance.

Douglas is the son of Bernie and Jim Veliky of Upper St. Clair. He is the grandson of the late George and Helen Dunyak, and the late John and Ann Veliky, all formerly of Donora.

Alma is the daughter of Salih and Amra Sahmanovic of Sacramento, Calif.

The groom is a graduate of Upper St. Clair High School and the University of Richmond. He is a CPA and internal audit manager for a food and beverage distribution company.

The bride is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. She is an internal audit manager for a healthcare consulting firm.

After a honeymoon to Kauai, Hawaii, the couple makes their home in Chicago.
