Township residents who were to have garbage picked up by Waste Management Dec. 27 and 28 did not see the trucks until Dec. 31.

If garbage was scheduled to be picked up on Dec. 29, the normal Friday pickup, Waste Management said that once the drivers finish their Monday routes, they will be returning to the Friday routes.

“This make take a couple of days, depending on their finish times,” according to an email sent Dec. 31 to township residents.

Each driver is only permitted to work 12 hours per day, or 60 hours a week by federal law.
