Triphammer Road in South Park to close for bridge work

The Allegheny County Department of Public Works announced that Triphammer Road in South Park Township will close on Monday, April 27 beginning at 7 a.m. to finish work on the Piney Fork Bridge No. 1 bridge that was begun last year. The closure is expected to remain in effect through May 8, 2015. Work on the Piney Fork Bridge No. 1 was begun last year, but was not completed due to the weather. This work includes paving of the bridge, installation of a catch basin, and staining of the architectural features. Contracting of Plum is doing the work.
