At the Epiphany Association, Beechview, The Epiphany as Spiritual Illumination in Religious Fiction” will be held at 7 p.m. April 10. Father Richard A. Infante, pastor of Our Lady of Grace Parish, Scott Township, will read his short story “The Waters of Tribulations.” The story is about the challenges facing seminarians as they study for the priesthood.

At Thomas Presbyterian Church, Eighty Four, the Rev. Doctor William Youmans will be welcomed as the new pastor on Palm Sunday, April 13. Services will be at 8:45 and 11 a.m. After graduating from Columbia International University with a bachelor of arts degree, Rev. Youmans received a master of divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a doctor of ministry from UTS-PSCE. Ministry experience includes churches in Nevada, Virginia, and both North and South Carolina. Rev. Youmans and his wife, Nancy, are the parents of two adult children.
