At In His Presence Ministries, Bethel Park, Sunday services are held at 10 a.m. A Passover Seder, the Jewish feast that marks the beginning of Passover, will be celebrated. At the Epiphany Association, Beechview, The Epiphany as Spiritual Illumination in Religious Fiction” will be held at 7 p.m. April 10. Father Richard A. Infante, pastor of Our Lady of Grace Parish, Scott Township, will read his short story “The Waters of Tribulations.” The story is about the challenges facing seminarians as they study for the priesthood.

At Community of Christ Church, Bethel Park, Dinner for a Dollar is set for 5-7 p.m. April 10. Enjoy spaghetti, salad and dessert for $1 per person or $3 for a family. No reservations needed.

• Firelight Fellowship for ages 18-35 will hold a special meeting at 6:30 p.m. April 13 at the church with guest speaker Bob Hoskin, author of “Science Reveals God.” The group meets two times each month. The next meeting will take place at 7 p.m. April 26.

At Thomas Presbyterian Church, Eighty Four, the Rev. Doctor William Youmans will be welcomed as the new pastor on Palm Sunday, April 13. Services will be at 8:45 and 11 a.m. After graduating from Columbia International University with a bachelor of arts degree, Rev. Youmans received a master of divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and a doctor of ministry from UTS-PSCE. Ministry experience includes churches in Nevada, Virginia, and both North and South Carolina. Rev. Youmans and his wife, Nancy, are the parents of two adult children.

At Christ the Redeemer Anglican Parish, Canonsburg, a support group for cancer survivors, patients and caregivers will meet the second Tuesday of each month, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. beginning April 15. Hot soup will be served. Email nmccombe@hotmail.com with questions.
