The South Hill Coin Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. July 11 at the Bethel Park Municipal Building located at 5100 West Library Ave. The program includes a pizza party, 50/50 raffle and children’s prizes. BOOK SALE
The Bethel Park Lions Club will hold a book sale from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, July 7, in the pavilion at Lions Park on Irishtown Road. Donations of used books will be collected at the park on July 5 and 6. Books can be left in the pavilion if no one is in attendance.
MYSTIC EVENT
The Mystical Psychic Fair Giveaway will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 9 at the Library Fire Hall, 6581 Library Rd. The Christmas In July-themed event will feature a table filled with wrapped presents with a $5 paid admission. SMILING MILES
The third annual Always B Smiling 5K will be held July 23 on the Montour Trail in Peters Township, near the TAR Outdoor Storage. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with the race starting at 9:15. Participants can run, walk or roll for as long as they want. The Keynotes Music Scholarship luncheon and fashion show will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at South Hills Country Club. MINI CAMP
A jewelry mini camp for ages 6-12 will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 5-7 at the Petes Township Recreation Center. CHABAD LUNCH
The Chabad of the South Hills, located on McFarland Road in Mt. Lebanon, will hold a senior lunch and carnival at noon July 12. FLEA MARKET
The ladies guild of St. Catherine Labouré Parish will hold its annual flea market “Timeless Treasures” from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, July 21, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 22, in the LeGras Parish Center (lower level), 320 McMurray Road, Upper St. Clair. Sale items will include jewelry, gently used children’s clothing to size 6, toys, decorative items, knick-knacks, kitchen items, holiday decorations, linens, tools, books, some furniture and much more. There will also be a boutique offering better quality items.
