Schratz was part of a 1-2-3 showing for the Indians with Cody Pyles and Kevin Crawford taking first and second. The sweep set the tone for a Peters Township victory versus Bethel Park, 95-89.

Allie Brinkhoff coasted to victory in the 200-yard IM as well as the 100-yard backstroke. She also led off the medley relay and anchored the 400 free relay. Despite her efforts, Bethel Park fell short of beating Peters Township, losing 93-91, in this dual meet event.

Connor Martin coasts through the water during the grueling 500-yard freestyle event. In the 20-lap event; Martin picked up second place with a time of 4:58.52. The showing helped Peters Township slip past Bethel Park; 95-89; in dual meet action.

Dan Pletz pulls through the water during the breaststroke leg of the 200-yard IM. Pletz won the event in 2:01.87. He took third in the backstroke and swam the lead-off leg in Peters Township’s winning medley relay.

Zach Mizak finished second to Kyle Higgins in the 100-yard backstroke with a 55.17 time. Higgins won in 53.43. Misak also swam the backstroke leg on Bethel Park’s second-place medley relay. He took second to his teammate, Erik Brinkhoff, in the 50 free and swam a leg on the 400 free relay.

Ava Shahdadian checks her time in the 50-yard freestyle. She won the race in 25.97. Shahdadian led a 1-2 finish for Peters Township as the Indians edged Bethel Park; 93-91; in dual meet competition. Julia Corton placed second with a 26.24 mark.

Bailey Grimm completes a rotation on her flip during the diving portion of the swim meet. Though Bethel Park finished 1-2 with Ashley Sams and Brianna Litwin, Grimm earned valuable third-place points and helped Peters Township to victory, 93-91, in the dual meet.

Erik Brinkhoff reaches over and shakes his opponent’s hand after winning the 50-yard freestyle race in 22.31. The senior also won the 100 free event in 50.74 time. Brinkhoff is the defending WPIAL champion in the 50 distance.
