Renaissance & Baroque presents Bruce Dickey & Hana Blažíková joined by an all-star ensemble of Baroque musicians at 8 p.m. April 28, at Synod Hall in Oakland.
The program, “Breathtaking: A Cornetto and Voice Entwined,” outlines the cornetto’s rise and decline in Baroque Italy throughout the entirety of the 17th century, exploring pieces by Scarlatti, Cazzati, Carissimi and others.
