The Castle Shannon Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual train show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20 in the department’s Memorial and Firemen’s halls, Route 88 and Grove Road.
The event will feature 200 display tables’ worth of model trains, parts and other items for collectors. Five displays will be operating, and children can take rides on trains.
An expanded history center covers the story of railroading in Western Pennsylvania.
The event benefits the fire department. For more information, call 412-833-4441.
