Water main break in Peters being repaired, 20 homes affected

Crews from Pennsylvania American Water Co. are working to repair a water main break that occurred on Thompsonville Road around 4 a.m. today, said Melissa Walters, a company spokesperson.
Twenty homes are affected, said Walters, adding that repairs should be completed by 6 p.m.
For the convenience of its customers, a water buffalo has been set up at the corner of East McMurray and Thompsonville roads, she said.
