At Bethany Presbyterian Church, Bridgeville, Christmas Eve services will include a 6 p.m. Family Service with “Noisy Offering” for goats (bring change for the offering), an 8 p.m. Traditional Candlelight Service with a traditional message and carols, and a 10 p.m. Candlelight Meditative Service of lessons and carols with Holy Communion. At Bethel Presbyterian Church, Bethel Park, Christmas Eve worship will include two holiday services. The first is at 7 p.m. with the Bell Choir providing special music. The 11 p.m. candlelight service will feature the Chancel Choir and brass ensemble. Sunday worship will resume at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 27.

At the Bible Chapel, McMurray, Christmas Eve services will take place the following times at these locations:

• South Hills – 1, 3, 5 and 7 p.m.

• Robinson – 5 and 7 p.m.

• Washington – 5 and 7 p.m. (Children’s Christmas Pageant will take place at the 5 p.m. service only)

• Wilkinsburg – 5 p.m. (Children’s Choir presentation)

• Online – 1, 3, 5 and 7 p.m.

Childcare will be available for ages three and younger for all Christmas Eve services except the 7 p.m., at all campuses.

At Chartiers Valley United Presbyterian Church, Carnegie (next to the historic Old St. Luke’s Church), Advent Candle Services are offered at 10:30 a.m. Sundays.

At Christ United Methodist Church, Bethel Park, Christmas Eve Worship Services will be held 3-11 p.m. Dec. 24. Celebrate the coming of the Christ child with us at one of seven worship services. Childcare for infants, toddlers and young preschoolers will be available during the 5 and 7 p.m. services. Services include:

• Children’s Christmas Hour (with Rhymes & Rhythms choir, a Children’s Christmas Story and no sermon), 3 p.m.

• Contemporary Worship, 5, 7 and 9 p.m.

• Cathedral Worship, 7 p.m. (with children’s choirs), 9 p.m. (with Chapel Choir) and 11 p.m. (with Chancel Choir)

At In His Presence Church, which has relocated to 250 Brookwood Road, Venetia, in the building across the road from the main sanctuary of Peters Creek Presbyterian Church (near St. David’s Episcopal Church), a Candlelight Christmas Service featuring special music and easel art will be held at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 23. At Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, McMurray, Christmas Eve services will include:

• Autism Service, 2:30 p.m. for children on the autism spectrum and their families

• Children’s Christmas Eve service, 4:30 p.m. Designed for young children and their families or anyone who would like to attend, the service will include songs and a retelling of the Christmas story in an interactive way.

• Family Worship Service, 7 p.m. This full service includes special music, candles and a children’s sermon in addition to the regular sermon.

• Candlelight Worship, 11 p.m. Usher in Christmas with this beautiful service that ends just as Christmas Day begins.

Holy Communion is offered at all Christmas Eve services.

There is no worship service on Dec. 25.

At Peters Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Venetia, Christmas Eve services will be celebrated at St. David’s Episcopal Church, located at 905 E. McMurray Road, Venetia. Services will include a Family Christmas Eve Service (childcare provided), at 5:30 p.m. and a Traditional Candlelight Christmas Eve Service at 9:30 p.m.
