Howard and Karen Friscia of Bethel Park announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie, to Tim O’Brien, son of Tim and Shelly O’Brien, also of Bethel Park.

Katie is a graduate of Bethel Park High School. She earned a bachelor of science degree from The Pennsylvania State University, State College, and a master’s of physician assistant studies from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Va. She is a dermatology physician assistant working at Bikowski Skin Care Center in Sewickley.

Tim is also a graduate of Bethel Park High School and The Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a bachelor of science degree. He is a sales representative at Stryker Three Rivers Orthopaedic & Spine in Pittsburgh.

An October wedding is planned.
