La Roche College will host a Literary Society presentation at 8 p.m. March 15 in room 103 of the Palumbo Science Center at the College’s main campus. Sister Michele Bisbey, Ph.D., professor of religious studies and Ketteler Endowed Chair of Theology at La Roche College, will be the guest speaker.

Sister Michele will discuss the St. John’s Bible, the first handwritten, hand-illuminated Bible of the modern era, focusing on the Bible’s 160 illustrations and how they serve as a contemporary commentary on the text. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Sister Rita Yeasted, Ph.D., at 412-536-1216 or Rita.Yeasted@laroche.edu.
